Energica and ABS system: an add value for the customer's safety with one year ahead!

The CRP Group, with the experience of over 40 years in the world of F1, has always stood out for its know-how and its customer care and attention. Regarding this, CRP team has always adopted a production policy related to the quality and reliability of all its projects; customer care as well as safety are very important CRP assets which are essential in the field of motorsport and high-performing vehicles like Energica. Thus, the CRP-Energica development team, has decided to integrate the ABS system on the first electric italian superbike since the first release. CRP staff has established to make this considerable but necessary effort in order to reach the goals of the Group and to present at the customer a 100% state-of-the-art product. The ABS system will be an added value for those people who no longer have to wait for 2016, when the system is mandatory for all two-wheeled vehicles. CRP Group, as other high-performing motorcycles manufacturers, goes along with customer wishes investing on an unique, high-performing but safe vehicle. The ABS system development provides, as always, a timeline of 12 months with a relevance partner; therefore Energica will be available on the market on 2015. During the 2014 ABS development, Energica team has decided to take the opportunity to meet with their followers in a series of extraordinary events all around the world in which it will be possible to test the sustainable superbike and enter the world of Energica. The calendar of the 2014 events will be communicated promptly to allow fans to attend their favourite event.

Spring news at CRP! Energica development team is enhanced with two high skilled technicians: Eng. Enrico Zelioli and Eng. Giovanni Gherardi! Eng. Zelioli graduated at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and has deep experience in various important national and international companies. At the beginning of his career he worked at CR&S, where he took part in VUN design; in 2007 Zelioli worked at Husqvarna-BMW Group - where he assumed the role of project leader of the offroad 4 stroke models and then in 2009 he became the project leader of Nuda 900 motorcycle, an important project Husqvarna-BMW branded that is considered to be the "first high performance Husky street motorcycle". Within Energica development team, Zelioli will coordinate the design of the streetbike as Project Manager - Chassis&Body Dept. and he will be supported by another well known name, Eng. Giovanni Gherardi, the most important italian expert in the field of electric vehicles. After the degree at University of Florence, Gherardi began his career as electronic designer in the field of renewable energy and textile at Shap spa and Bromas srl, in 2009 he worked at V. Barbagli srl (well-known company in the field of "Metering&Billing") as a Remote Metering R&D. Finally he join the field of automotive and electric vehicles in Oxygen spa, where he had the role of Electronic R&D Manager - Energy Storage, developing an Automatic Battery Test Bench able to run all USABC FreedomCAR and IEC62660-1 Performance and Aging test in order to characterize and select Lithium Cells. Eng. Gherardi has joined the Energica staff as Electronic System Architect, dealing with the design of the electronic control system of the bike and the vehicle body controller.

These are the latest high-skilled new entries for the two wheeled 100% electric streetbike made in CRP, which is a good alternative for the motorcycle riders who choose the sustainable mobility with the benefits of a luxury sportsbike. Energica, 100% green-tech, has now a top team of experts at its disposal.

The innovation and sustainable high-performing of Energica will represent the electric world on two-wheel in the first exclusive world online guide dedicated to sustainable luxury: 1.618 Sustainable Luxury Guide. This guide has been designed by Paris 1618, the biennial exhibition of sustainable luxury, whose aim since 2009 is to give international visibility to brand committed to sustainable development in the construction of a new economy. Building on the great success of previous editions of the exhibition and renowned luxury sustainable pole, this year 1.618 Paris has invested in creating an online guide, unique in its kind, an exclusive showcase for international consumers and that comprises the 50 most innovative, creative and deeply committed to sustainability world companies. CRP Group, leader for over 40 years in the field of international motorsport and high-performing 3D Printing materials, has been chosen to become part of this guide with Energica project, the first  high-performing Italian electric superbike, the only one in the guide. 1.618 Sustainable Luxury Guide will be launched next April 3rd in Paris. The vision of the Made in Italy in the world in this guide is enhanced with the CRP sustainable high-performing superbike: Energica.
