

The eCRP 1.2 was the first competition version of the electric motorcycle for CRP Racing. It made its debut on the track at Assen, racing on the 24 and 25 September 2010, in the TTXGP EU with the professional rider Alessandro Brannetti. It was a real triumph for the Italian electric racing motorcycle! Branetti secured a second place finish in the first round and clinched a victory in the second round of the competition. The best, however, was yet to come ... On October 2 and 3. 2010, the eCRP 1.2 competed at the famed Brands Hatch where CRP Racing won the title of European Champion TTXGP 2010. The team went on podium at the World Final Albacete, taking second place.
The team of eCRP 1.2 has found an excellent balance between weight and battery size, allowing incredible handling for an electric racing vehicle, with a total weight of only 160kg, balance is a key factor.
The eCRP 1.2 uses a lithium-polymer 7.4Kw/h battery with a weight of 52kg and it is driven by two permanent magnet DC motors with six brushes each.
CRP Racing has brought performance to the track with the focus on green technology in orderĀ to show the capabilities of this new concept of electric motorcycling. To this end they are showing a new generation of riders that they can expect the speed and excitement traditional to motorcycling.
